Our bioreactor BioAxFlow is a device where, with the help of an external peristaltic pump and tubes, cell culture medium is continuously pumped into a vessel from the bottom, lifting the cells up, accessing the vessel and, eventually, allowing cell seeding on the scaffold.
BioAxFlow’s user-friendly modular system consists of 4 main components:
The base that allows both medium entry and exit thus, generates fluid dynamics suitable for efficient cell culture within the bioreactor chamber;
The scaffold stand designed to accommodate constructs/scaffolds of different geometries and sizes, customisable by the client;
The cap is equipped with sampling ports for cell sampling and threaded supports for vent plugs.
The glass cylinder, allowing for constant visual inspection of the content;
